Dinner sandwiches are a great solution on a busy day. These decadent, cheesy treats not only come together quickly on a night when the wind is howling and rain is pounding on the roof, but they also make a wonderful breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Pair them up with some oven hashbrowns or sweet potato bites and fruit salad or even a tossed green salad. One of the great things about this recipe is that you can make only a few of these sandwiches or double, even triple the recipe and make a bunch for a crowd.
What makes these really fantastic is if you have good bread (I love Cobs white loaf, sliced thick), great quality ham, and some good cheese. The better quality ingredients you use, the more amazing these sandwiches will be. Forget a knife and fork, just pick them up and go ahead. We won’t tell if you lick your fingers.
